real has been closely involved in ministry to New Agers. Inter-religious dialogue is essential if we are to share our faith with people of other religions and spiritual paths. Not only will you visit mosques, temples and synagogues and go to various conferences and events, you'll also discover that these are real people dealing with real life issues.

Arts and cultures:

Work in the arts community. Do you have an artistic vocation that you'd like to develop while here in Montreal: visual arts, music, dance, theatre or writing? Montreal is recognized internationally as an influential cultural city. The arts are amongst the languages spoken by city dwellers.

Social justice:

Does social justice or humanitarian issues interest you? Maybe you'd like to work with street kids, with AIDS victims or with refugees. Or maybe you're concerned about ecological issues or with globalization. Is there some way to be involved as a Christian and that would be coherent with your faith?

Church:

Join a church planting team. Quebec is in many ways a culture where the church and christian faith have little recognition. The downtown in particular has few churches. We collaborate with pastors that are involved in developping new ways of being the church in the city in order to reach certain communities. The church is called to adapt to new cultural realities.

Ethnic groups:

You feel called to work amongst a particular people group? a particular ethnic community? You'd like to work amongst the Laotian people or in the Italian or Pakistani communities? Maybe you feel called to actually go to a foreign country at one point and Montreal could be a good occasion for you to become that particular culture and language?
