My experience with Urban Cultures was really enriching. I was able to grow in my underderstanding of who God is and his thoughts and dreams for us here on earth. As a citizen of Quebec, I learned how to live this dream in my city and in my post-christian context. Certain speakers from Quebec during our teaching weeks really helped me to understand the situation of christianity in Québec and in Montreal. It was during my internship and my volunteer work that I was able to apply these teachings and where I met all sorts of people. I understand better what incarnation represents and my role as a christian living in Montreal. Even more, my internship and volunteer work permitted me to continue certains projects and interests that I already had begun in Montreal using the arts in social work. Today, I continue these projects with a better understanding of what these can bring to the Kingdom of God in my city.
